A representative from OrCam will start with a live demo of pioneering technology and wearable devices:

The OrCam MyEye PRO is a small, discreet wearable that uses artificial intelligence to help blind or low vision users identify text, recognize faces, distinguish colors and currency, and identify products.

The OrCam Read Smart is a handheld reading pen that instantly reads aloud any printed or digital text, capturing full pages with the press of a button.

Following the demo, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the technology firsthand by trying out the devices. The OrCam representative will be available to answer all your questions and help determine if OrCam can help you or your loved one gain greater independence.

This in-person workshop hosted by Santa Barbara Center requires COVID protocols to be followed: All in-person students, library patrons, volunteers and clients must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination.
