5 visually impaired students represent Hall schools in Braille contest

Five visually impaired students from the Hall County School District competed in the annual Braille Challenge at the Georgia Academy for the Blind in Macon.
Students from across Georgia compete in categories that include speed and accuracy, proofreading, reading comprehension, spelling and charts and graphs.
The students from Hall schools were: Kayla Mulling, Johnson High School; Myles Irwin, Mount Vernon Exploratory School; Kevin Aceves, Chicopee Woods Elementary; Brenda Torres, Davis Middle School; and Isabela Juna-Mateo, Tadmore Elementary School.
Mulling and Juan-Mateo both placed second in their respective age groups.
