Fast Braille reader to compete in Los Angeles

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A second grader from House Springs Elementary, will represent St. Louis in the biggest and fastest finger competition in the nation.
Austin Schwan is one of only sixty contestants in the U.S. who qualified for the final round of “The Braille Challenge”.
He along with his Mom and Braille teacher from the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired, visit FOX 2 for an up close look at his skills and to talk about how he is preparing for his trip.
