LOS ANGELES, September 23, 2020 – Braille Institute of America announces the appointment of Patricia Bramhall to its board of directors. Ms. Bramhall brings over 42 years of experience in the area of information technology management and consulting. She has advised several major organizations across multiple industries on business integration and technology strategies. “We are pleased to welcome Pat to our board and delighted to have her leadership and strategic insights as we prepare for our next century of service,” said Michael C. Corley, Chair of Braille Institute’s Board of Directors.

Ms. Bramhall has previously served on several boards including Women in Business LA, Youth Mentoring Connection, LA Giving Circle Decision Board and most recently as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board, a formal peer group of CEOs from organizations in the greater Los Angeles area. “I am honored to join Braille Institute’s board of directors,” said Patricia. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Braille Institute in the past and eager to work alongside my fellow directors in this new capacity to advance Braille Institute’s mission.”

Background on Patricia Bramhall

Patricia Bramhall has more than 42 years of experience in the area of information technology. Most recently, she was CEO with Tydak Consulting Services, LLC and provided strategic technology services to major organizations in Southern California. Tydak’s clients included Dole Foods, Honda and Farmers Insurance. She understands the importance and complexities of integrating people, process and technology within organizations to meet key business goals.

Ms. Bramhall also brings extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors having worked for CountryWide Home Loans, Sun America and Executive Life insurance in senior leadership roles.
