2022 Braille Challenge Winners Announced!

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2022 Braille Challenge Winners who prevailed in five braille literacy categories to earn the award for their age level or category as announced at the Braille Challenge Finals Awards Ceremony and Banquet this past Saturday night at the Tutor Campus Center on the campus of the University of Southern California!

Thank you families and everyone who attended – both in-person and virtually via live stream – to support these amazing finalists and braille literacy. And, sincere gratitude to all the teachers, TVI’s, sponsors and donors who helped make this event happen in its 22nd year!

More than 800 youth from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom participated in Braille Challenge Regionals this year. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication all of you have demonstrated in your love for braille reading and writing!

Braille Challenge is the only academic competition of its kind held in January through March each year in North America for students who are blind or visually impaired. Braille Institute developed Braille Challenge to motivate students to practice and hone their braille literacy skills, which are essential to academic and employment success. Learn more…
