The Braille Challenge season takes place in two stages each year:
- Stage 1: Braille Challenge Preliminaries where any and all students that read braille can participate.
- Stage 2: Braille Challenge Finals where the top 50 in the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom compete.

Submit Collateral Order form. This updates your contact info and is how you order customized permission forms and print/embossed save-the-date postcards.

Online contest order form available for Regionals.
January – March
Braille Challenge Preliminaries held. All contests must be completed within this window.

Braille Challenge Regionals Modified Program Delivery
Each Braille Challenge Regional has unique needs. In the “Resource Documents” above you will find the 2021 Pandemic Supplemental Handbook. In this handbook, we have provided various options for program delivery to accommodate a wide range of needs. There are modified in-person options as well as virtual. For any in-person programming options, please adhere to the recommended CDC Safety Guidelines for attending events or gatherings.
We appreciate your patience in understanding that this a rapidly evolving situation, and we are doing our best to monitor the situation and make decisions based on facts and recommendations from state and federal officials. As things evolve, we will continue to communicate updates and necessary changes to you, our regional partners.
