Online: 20th Anniversary Braille Challenge Award Ceremony
July 31, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm| Free
More than 1,200 youth from all over North America who are visually impaired compete in regional Braille Challenge competitions which test their braille literacy in multiple categories and only 50 make it as finalists for the Braille Challenge Finals!
This year we’ve taken the competitions, the seminars, and the celebrations, to the virtual stage.
Join us on YouTube for our live Awards Ceremony at 2.00pm PST/5.00pm EDT! Not only will you find out who the winners are of the Braille Challenge but you’ll also hear from Braille Institute President Peter Mindnich, Braille Challenge Alum Desmond Delgadillo and our keynote speaker is David D’Arcangelo, the Commissioner of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind.
We welcome all viewers! Registration will close on July 30, and a staff member of Braille Institute will contact those who have registered with information on how to access the YouTube broadcast.
