LOCAL DONORS MAKE IT ALL POSSIBLE!

With the help of our many donors, Braille Institute San Diego continues to provide free programs and services for people of all ages living with vision loss in our community.

Since our founding in 1919, bequests have been a key to our financial well-being. Through the years, countless friends, volunteers and clients have chosen to use bequests as a meaningful way of permanently contributing to the significant work of Braille Institute.

Give today to help keep our services free of charge. To talk about donation opportunities specific to Braille Institute San Diego, or for a free booklet covering the details of bequests and other ways to give please contact our Director of Philanthropy at (858) 404-5002 or visit Ways to Give

VOLUNTEERING IN OUR SAN DIEGO CENTER

“Volunteering is a joy and a privilege, a chance to say thanks for all of your blessings, and to give back. It will bring a smile to your face every time. Do it immediately.” –Andy H., Braille Institute San Diego Volunteer

Volunteers have donated more than 137,000 hours of service to help keep our programs free. To learn about current volunteer opportunities and to begin your journey as a Braille Institute volunteer, visit our VolunteerMatch.org.
